Product Group Manager, Elovena® (Parental Leave Cover)

We are looking for an experienced and commercially minded Product Group Manager (parental leave cover) to take the Elovena® spoonables category to the next level. Reporting to the Head of Marketing, you will have both strategic and operational responsibility for developing the category – from concept development to successful launches and scaling further growth. In this role, you will play an important part in making the category even more relevant, innovative and meaningful in consumers’ everyday lives.

Your responsibilities:
Category Strategy
• Define the long-term category growth strategy and innovation pipeline in collaboration with local teams.
• Partner with local teams to optimize the mental and physical availability of the portfolio, driving penetration and growth.
• Actively manage and optimize the product assortment.
• Monitor the competitive landscape and market dynamics and respond proactively.
Project Leadership
• Develop product concepts grounded in consumer insight.
• Build business cases based on identified growth opportunities.
• Lead new and existing product development projects from idea to launch, combining strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
• Leverage market research and consumer data to support decision-making and ensure product–market fit.
• Lead, motivate and inspire cross-functional teams to deliver best-in-class products.
• Lead taste and concept testing for the category.
• Drive packaging development projects for the category.
• Act as the key link between local teams, product development, procurement and external partners.
Commercial Excellence
• Be responsible for product assortment, pricing recommendations and financial performance in close collaboration with local commercial teams.
• Manage the category P&L down to gross margin level, identifying levers to drive profitability.
• Identify and drive opportunities for profitable growth.
What we expect from you:
• 5-10 years of experience in a Product Group Manager or equivalent role, preferably within the FMCG sector.
• A strong consumer-centric and business-oriented mindset.
• Proven ability to lead projects independently in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Experience working in an international and multicultural environment.
• Excellent project management and presentation skills.
• Strong networking, communication and collaboration skills.
• A creative mindset with the ability to identify and develop innovative solutions.
• Fluency in both Finnish and English.
• Willingness to travel.
